The music contained on this disc, was produced during the nearly three weeks of mandatory quarantine in Providencia, Chile, where I live.
The original intention was to have, on the one hand, a daily routine to fight the stress and the boredom due to the lockdown, On the other hand, as a personal challenge; to be able to create, record and finish a new tune each day, starting form the first idea that would make sense, even if it was very simple.
Due to the positive experience, and even with all the flaws of my playing and recording, I decided to capture the result on a CD, as evidence of a period, that at least from the emotional point of view, could’ve been to be forgotten.
The album consists of 9 short tracks, mostly played on an acoustic guitar with the addition of different effects.
My influences go from classic and progressive rock to the Cocteau Twins and Sigur Ros.
